The Opening Performance of Differentiation, the 3rd Synesthesia Show, featured live performances of collaborative works by students of MICA and the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University. Asian contemporary artists working across sound, performance, installation, and media invited audiences to experience a layered conversation around visibility, transformation, and creative divergence.

On August 30, Bmore Falasteen and Making Space Bmore presented GAZA THREADS, an evening of community arts workshops and a vendor market raising funds for mutual aid for families in Gaza!
2025 Risograph Workshops with JESS JESS PRESS
During the fall of 2025, Artist-in-Residence JESS JESS PRESS offered risograph workshops giving visitors the opportunity to learn about the print medium and create a collaborative mini-zine. Participants received 10 copies of their zine!
Community Weaving with Hannah Atallah
During the Summer and Fall of 2025, Third Place Artist-in-Residence Hannah Atallah hosted community weaving workshops on a flipped table top loom! Final weavings were raffled to raise mutual aid funds for families in Gaza. This method of weaving comes from Joyce Scott, a Baltimore based artist, and uses a table flipped upside down to create a portable loom. Multiple people can weave together in communion.
Making Space Bmore at SCOUT Art Fair / Artscape 2025
In May 2025, Making Space Bmore participated in the first edition of SCOUT Art Fair as part of the annual Artscape festival. The Scout Art Fair, an affordable art fair, will be held in Baltimore, MD, at the War Memorial Building, from May 23-25, 2025, during the Artscape Festival. The fair was a collaboration between the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA), the City of Baltimore, Mayor Brandon M. Scott’s Downtown RISE Initiative, and curated by Derrick Adams and Teri Henderson.

An artist talk with Luis Alfonso Villalobos facilitated by Alfonso Sanchez Herrera Lasso, curator of DISJUNCTION. Guests enjoyed Mexican food prepared by the artist!
Bromo Art Walk Spring 2025
At our first-ever Bromo Art Walk, Making Space Bmore invited visitors to meet-and-greet with DISJUNCTION artists Ringo Lisko and Luis Alfonso Villalobos, as well as live risograph print demonstrations by artist-in-residence JESS JESS PRESS.
Charles Mason III Print Project in Support of Two Lane Stories Endowed Fund
Making Space Bmore and printer Dan Flounders partnered with Charles Mason III to create limited edition prints in support of Two Lane Stories Endowed Fund for visual arts students at Morgan State University.
